Born and raised in Dallas, Texas. Lives on a cattle ranch, 'Kanes Kickapoo Creek Ranch' just down the road from the studio with her husband George Kane, 4 children, and hundreds of animals. Designed the first reusable cloth pad for herself after her last baby, then went viral on TikTok for being the "pad lady". After attending SMU in Dallas as a pre-law student, she ended up becoming an entrepreneur. Makayla is the face of the business and does all her own social media.

Born and raised in Polk County, Texas, with 3 beautiful daughters. Kayla has been a nurse since 2011 and has been employed at SoCo since 2025. She manages the entire team here at SoCo Studio and makes sure every reusable cloth pad is made correctly, perfectly, and beautifully crafted for every order.

Your favorite customer service sales rep, Taylor, resides in Colombia with her husband and children. Aside from being a fitness instructor for many years, she has a very important remote role here at SoCo. Taylor works directly with all customers, making sure they are well taken care of. She helps organize and sort our fabrics, handles all the emails, creates our reports, and so much more. She has been at SoCo Studio since 2023, during its most transitional years.

Resides in Louisiana as a stay-at-home mom and is currently in school to become a psychologist. D'Shay has worked remotely for SoCo Studio since 2021. Her vital role includes ensuring all listings and website details are taken care of, as well as running the VIP Facebook group for our customers.

Currently residing in Texas, Celeste started her journey here at SoCo Studio in January 2026, learning how to cut and prep fabric for pads. She now assists in pulling, packing, and shipping orders as well as inventory. She is an essential part of SoCo, keeping us on our toes and always entertained.

Resides in East Texas on her family's land, where she and her husband are building their homestead and farm. Jennifer started at SoCo in March 2026 as a Textile Prep Specialist. She helps pack and ship orders and assists in training and teaching. She will work circles around everyone and won't leave the shop until she's made to go. She's a fantastic hard workaholic.

From Houston, Texas, Sam started her position at SoCo Studio in June 2026 as a studio trainee in all departments. She is currently under an apprenticeship in a new role to help maintain production flow.
